  • Marc E. Filer

    Marc E. Filer is the Director - Forensic Services at PwC in Washington D.C. He has over 18 years of forensic accounting experience. He focusses on anti-corruption/FCPA matters, including internal investigations, compliance program assessments, and due diligence. He has also managed forensic accounting and financial fraud investigations, anti-money laundering investigations/lookbacks, and dispute analysis/expert witness cases.

    Marc has worked on anti-corruption/FCPA matters in over 35 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Americas, and Africa. In particular, he has anti-corruption/FCPA experience in technology, aerospace & defense, manufacturing, industrial products, retail and consumer, and the oil and gas industry.

    Marc is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio, Virginia, and Washington. D.C. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).

    Marc earned his B.B.A in Accounting, Finance and Business Pre-Law from Ohio University and his Executive M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

  • Sulaksh Shah

    Sulaksh Shah is a Forensic Services Partner at PwC in Washington D.C. He has over 23 years of public accounting experience. His practice focuses on internal investigation and anti-corruption/FCPA.

    In conjunction with counsel, Sulaksh has represented clients before the United States Department of Justice as well as the Securities and Exchange Commission.

    Sulaksh has worked matters in Africa, Asia, South America, North America, Australia, and Europe. In particular, he has anti-corruption/FCPA experience in pharmaceutical/medical products, manufacturing, industrial products, retail and consumer, hospitality, financial services, defense, technology and energy industry.

    Sulaksh frequently speaks on the topics of anti-corruption/FCPA and internal investigations and has been a featured speaker at national and international conferences, including ACI, PLI and ABA. He has instructed at various universities, including but not limited to Georgetown Law School, University of Virginia, University of Missouri, and DePaul University.

    Sulaksh is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and Washington DC. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).

    Sulaksh earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai, India.
