A 360° View of Criminal Justice (2024 Criminal Justice Section Annual Program)

This year's annual criminal law CLE brings a cast of well-rounded speakers, addressing all aspects of criminal law practice.

Jim Griffin speaks about his experiences defending Alex Murdaugh. State prosecutor Justin Steen and defense attorney Thomas Amburgey cover high-level drug cases from both sides of the aisle, while former federal prosecutor-turned-defense lawyer Beth Greene provides sentencing advice. Magistrate judges from all three judicial districts speak on what moves them.

Nationally known appellate lawyer Cheryl Stein provides advice on using the rules of evidence to your advantage, and panelists Judge Joe Crosswhite, Darrin Jordan and Mary Pollard address current issues facing Indigent Defense Services.
