  • Chris Foreman

    Chris Foreman is President of Barefoot Professional Investigations in Charlotte. He focuses on enabling growth opportunities, both from a service offering and geographic standpoint, as well as driving continuous operational improvement throughout the organization. His passion lies in building teams that, in turn, provide exceptional service and a successful client experience.

    Prior to Barefoot, Chris spent ten years in the consulting sector as a strategy manager at Accenture Consulting and PwC where he led a variety of large, multi-million-dollar operational programs for Fortune100 companies. In consulting, he specialized in corporate growth strategy as well as operational process improvement initiatives across several industries including professional services, retail, and consumer packaged goods.

    Chris earned his B.S. in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Collateral - International Business from the University of Tennessee and his M.B.A. from Emory University - Goizueta Business School.

  • Richard Krenmayer

    Richard Krenmayer the co-founder and CEO of Stasmayer, Incorporated, a Managed IT and IT Security company in Charleston, SC. He attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with his business partner, David Stasaitis, where they both received a B.S. degree in Business Information Systems and started Stasmayer.

    As cybersecurity continues to evolve and come to the forefront of everyone's mind in business, Rick has given multiple speeches and CLEs to provide a call to action on the subject. He is also a co-author for the latest edition of the South Carolina BAR's Paralegal Survival Guide having written the section on cybersecurity.

  • Micah Sturgis

    Micah Sturgis is the Director of Digital Forensics at Barefoot Professional Investigations in Charlotte. He is an accomplished Forensic Examiner who began his career in law enforcement where he served in many capacities.

    During his law enforcement tenure, Micah formed the Digital Forensics program at the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office and was the Agency Contact for the NC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (NCICAC). After 14 years of serving the citizens of Cleveland County, he took a position as a Digital Forensic Examiner for a private firm in the Charlotte area where he worked with law firms across the country, examining digital evidence involved in their cases.

    Micah also spent time at Wells Fargo as a Digital Forensic Investigator, where he investigated employee theft, data breaches, money laundering, and other bank regulatory matters. In late 2021, he joined Barefoot Professional Investigations as Director of Digital Forensics, leading all digital forensic cases throughout the Carolinas.

    Micah has been conducting digital forensics for over 15 years. He has been trained in digital forensics by the United States Secret Service at the National Computer Forensics Institute in Hoover, AL. He also received training from the American Academy of Applied Forensics at Central Piedmont Community College in Huntersville, North Carolina.

    Micah has multiple forensic certifications which include his EnCase Certified Examiner certification (EnCE), Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner certification (CCME), and Mobile Device Examiner (MDE- US Secret Service).
