North Carolina's environmental future is shaped by the initiatives we take today to protect it. Join us as we examine emerging trends and recent developments that affect both the present and the future of our practice, our clients and our state.
This program dives into recent EPA guidance on perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and the expansion of PFAS-related litigation and regulation, reviews regulatory requirements and common deficiencies of state-regulated dams, and shares the latest updates on case law and legislative developments in North Carolina. Drawing from their diverse experiences and positions in private practice, state government and the non-profit world, panelists discuss timely topics related to coastal law in North Carolina and reflect on the past successes and future challenges of environmental justice issues.
To wrap it all up, Doug Brown shares what he discovered firsthand during his 30 years of experience in the fast-paced legal industry, including secrets to finding the optimal work pace, recovering valuable time, boosting income, and getting more done in less time, all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
