In-Person Live | It's Not Easy Being a Government and Public Sector Lawyer (With Nods to Kermit) (2022 Government & Public Sector Section Program)

This item is expired.

It's not easy being a government and public sector (GPS) attorney. As Kermit sings, "It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things." A GPS attorney has to know and be able to do a variety of things.

This CLE addresses the: green of public funding and SaaS contracts, neutrals of politics in the workplace, yellow caution lights for a first week, fuzzy brown of service animals in government spaces, many colors of cases to know, red lights for impairment in the workplace, and smooth-sailing blue of ethics and investigations.

Like Kermit, you'll be able to say "I'm [a GPS lawyer], and it'll do fine. It's beautiful and I think it's what I want to be."
