  • Bert Davis Jr.

    Bert Davis Jr. is the owner of Davis Forensic Group in Greensboro. After spending 20 years doing investigative accounting in various roles in public accounting firms, private companies and government agencies, Bert founded the Davis Forensic Group to focus solely on forensic accounting. Realizing that providing support to attorneys requires a business model different from the cyclical work of public accounting firms, the Davis Forensic Group uses a project team model that provides highly qualified specialists throughout the country at any time of the year. The model includes working with clients of all backgrounds, including those needing court-appointed attorneys and experts.

    A native of Greensboro, Bert has 20 years of experience in various financial roles in the public and private sectors. He has worked with clients on cases both large and small.

    Bert is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in North Carolina, New York and the District of Columbia and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) specialty issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

    Bert earned his B.A. in Music from Oberlin Conservatory, his Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and his Master of Accounting from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

  • William C. "Bill" Dameworth

    William C. "Bill" Dameworth is a managing Member at Forensic Strategic Solutions in Winston-Salem and the member in charge of valuation services. A specialist in litigated business valuation, William formerly served as a Managing Director of ComStock Advisors, and senior manager and director of the Business Valuation and Litigation Services Group of Dixon Odom PLLC (now Dixon Hughes Goodman). His career began in banking where he developed substantial experience in industry and economic analysis, and financial forecasting and modeling during tenures as a commercial lending officer and bank credit officer. He has also practiced in public accounting providing traditional accounting, audit and tax services for a diverse group of business and individual clients.

    William's extensive business valuation and litigation consulting experience includes services in over 500 engagements for a wide variety of purposes, including gift, estate, family law matters, shareholder disputes, shareholder buyouts, buy/sell agreements, charitable contributions, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing, intangible asset valuation, mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, business damages, asset tracing, and active/passive appreciation analysis. These services have been related to corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies across the manufacturing, wholesale, retail and service sectors.

    William has served as an expert witness in Federal and state courts for plaintiffs, defendants and mutual.

    William earned his B.B.A with a concentration in Finance, summa cum laude, from Emory University.
