In-Person Live | Building for the Future (2022 Criminal Justice Section Program)

This item is expired.

As the court system evolves, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important for attorneys to have the tools necessary for continuing success.

This program features an outstanding lineup of presenters covering useful topics to benefit all state and federal practitioners, including different mitigation strategies that enable attorneys to learn about a client's life history and story, a helpful tutorial on the new eCourts electronic filing system (tailored specifically to criminal attorneys), and tips for preparing a strong defense in federal drug cases.

We also dive into ethical issues facing prosecutors and defense attorneys, explore the use of technology in North Carolina courtrooms as we navigate COVID-19 and beyond, and hear an update on the latest DWI case law.
