Trade Secret Law and Practical Considerations After the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016


The United States Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA) signed into law in 2016 provides a federal civil cause of action for the protection of trade secrets in the United States.

This session includes a brief introduction explaining the importance of trade secrets, an overview of the Act and strategies for maintaining trade secrets, conducting trade secret litigation and emerging trends.
